Our TBL studies to superior strains don’t stop and since this post is almost a year overdue, Waikato Stud (N.Z.) sire Super Seth is a stallion that won’t be forgotten!
An impressive athletic Type – the geno gilt-edge akin essential classic lines that make for his immeasurable depth.
Super Seth (Aus) – morphological strength, elasticity, fluidity, suppleness, all appealing a class of his very own, this stallion smacks the eye (imo).
Super Seth’s sire Dundeel may well be considered as Australasia’s rising breed-shaper. His sensational G1 winning 2yo Militarize from a Dubawi mare brings into sharp focus a power-house of genetics; the siring ability to produce an outright 2yo speed pedigree which notably comes free of Danehill/Danzig.
Great things are to come, Super Seth offers great siring potential. The broodmare sire Redoute’s Choice – a champion sire, sire of sires, 2x Australian broodmare sire where his racing supremacy was of champion miler.
Super Seth’s dam Salutations produced G2 & G3 performer Wild Planet by Animal Kingdom. For mine, the jewel in the crown to her pedigree is Rory’s Jester, a champion 2yo and an outstanding sire.
Super Seth by line-bred principle, @ Hyperion (21x) by dam Selene
with Fair Trial (10x), his dam Lady Juror.
Selene & Lady Juror principal ‘profiles’ which outrightly dominant. Super Seth’s 5th dam shows 4×4 Fair Trial; Lady Juror from Lady Josephine by Sundridge) the #family f.f.9c. The decisive critical point with that alongside of Northern Dancer (4×5) to his inheritances via Mahmoud (f.f.9c) + Hyperion/Selene thru his sire Nearctic from Lady Angela.
(typological Herod and Matchem, #BT & #GA) its judicious to figure these heritage factors; Byerley Turk #BT strains and Godolphin Barb #GA working into ineffable potency. (n.b. vehemently, these superior strains compel, as helpfully demonstrated to Militarize by Dundeel)
Super Seth geno has speed & tenacity.

Seth’s ‘power of magnetism’ – something that needs to be witnessed.
Its hard to convey upon modern breeding the incredible 2x Chouberski (#Herod) strains as seen by Lyphard’s dam Goofed by the cardinal, Court Martial (Fair Trial).
Sired by Northern Dancer, Lyphard was an unwanted ugly yearling, and selling numerous times over. His ‘strain’ influence continues to this day overwhelmingly remarkable.
The Wertheimers had an excellent eye for horses and believed this young colt had hidden quality. The Stallion Dynasty of Lyphard.
The longevity he added to the most successful sire line in history can never be duplicated and never will be replaced. Just like Lyphard himself, his effect on the thoroughbred will always be timeless (credit as above)
By haplotype – the significance laid to #family1-n as Chelandry family. This is the female family of High Chaparral, Fiesta Star (AUS) & to dam, Salutations distaff. The genetic relationship takes interest since @ distaff High Chap. has 6×5 Chouberski via Hugh Lupus, 3x Teddy + Norseman of Tara/Jean Gow # 13C family n.b. features, last few posts ) – Fiesta Star 5×4 Fair Trial – + distaff @ 5th dam 4×4 Fair Trial.
