She was good as it gets @ 4×4 distaff Harkaway + Lord Clifden (f.f.2-h distaff Martha Lynn) + sire’s distaff from Marpessa (f-f 3m) dam of Pocahontas, dam of King Tom, son of Harkaway. Even so to myself – I have long maintained that alongside pedigree to inbreeding, line breeding, are strains n’ traits that are strikingly Dominant beneath.
