🐴 racehorse genetics that go on to perform.

A New Zealand bred mare, the Centaine daughter became South Africa’s own…her line, 3rd dam Princess Royal (Captain Al, a Roberto tail-male line) dam of subject pedigree Princess Calla (SAF). https://www.pedigreequery.com/princess+calla

With astute judgement, it paved the way to results and success, her career https://www.sportingpost.co.za/princess-calla-and-the-search-for-greatness/ – consolidates racehorse versatility, constitution and adaptability.

Princess Calla’s US bred sire Flower Alley was winner of the G1 Travers Stakes and joined the South Africa stallion roster 2015 as purchased by Wilgerbosdrift Stud. Sire of many competent performers, his mark as a stallion to current pedigrees are Queen Elizabeth II cup winner, the Japan bred Lucky Lilac (Orfevre). https://www.pedigreequery.com/lucky+lilac2. His son, I’ll Have Another, the 2012 Kentucky Derby winner left a number of listed stakes winners in Japan returning to reside at http://www.oceanbreezeranch.com/illhaveanother California.

By pedigree – Flower Alley’s dam (Princess Olivia) – distinctive for 5×5 Goofed, dam of those wonderful genetics in Lyphard and her G1 winning daughter Nobiliary but for breeding, the unfortunate mare. Goofed is Flower Alley’s 5th dam female line and reines-de-course mare. Princess Olivia also dam of Japan bred, Tosen Ra (Deep Impact, 3x Goofed) & Spielberg.

Forever impressive by the impact of Lyphard genetics upon international breeding, especially its worth to the superior champions of Japan’s breeding. Though usual credit goes to breed-shaper sire Northern Dancer, dam Goofed i) by Court Martial by Fair Trial from a Hurry On dam ii) 5×5 Basse Terre + 5×5 Chouberski that paves a strong genetic hallway to . It is evident this is not about the historical ‘BT’ context but rather a recovery to itself.

We could race draft horses over most any surface, and their bones are strong enough it wouldn’t matter. But, the thoroughbred maintains only the minimum skeleton that is sufficient to carry them around the track. Excess skeleton is added weight and penalized the horse’s speed. So, the light skeleton is a speed advantage, unless it gets too light to carry its owner, and then it fails. This is why we will never eliminate injuries totally. Success is predicated on the fact that our athletes carry the minimum skeleton necessary. They run right on the edge of their physiology.

Dr. Larry Bramlage describes here, when talking about why racehorses will always break down (if we breed for speed):
Dr. Bramlage is an internationally recognized equine orthopedic surgeon

The mare Goofed, her individuals as above are bone medicine

Princess Calla broodmare sire Captain Al (SAF). An outstanding champion sire and broodmare sire and his Listed Line-bred (https://www.pedigreequery.com/linebreeding/captain+al2) are the par excellence. Captain Al record speaks for itself – a once in a lifetime stallion he passed 2017.

A prolific source of two-year-old talent, Captain Al was South Africa’s Leading Sire of 2YOs on no fewer than eight occasions, with the half-brother to dual G1 winner Shadow Dancing topping that South African premiership in 2008-2009,2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, and 2015-2016

The breeding to a carriage of certain genetics is high-end important and its integration pivotal. The morpho in principle – stay in the Bones: a superior profile shall remain, its consistentcy to name a few.

Princess Calla (5S x 6S x 5S x 4D N.D. ) Where Northern Dancer is generally placed as solution to pedigree formulation, his hybrid scope upon other lines remains a subject still topical. By way, Northern Dancer’s focus may be drawn upon 3x Spearmint (Carbine) + 16x St Angela (King Tom/Harkaway).

@Princess Olivia (dam, Flower Alley) 8x Spearmint. Of daughters – another strain Baby Polly (Vienna) Seaweed (Vaguely Noble), son Chicle sire of Mother Goose + Fair Trial 6S x 8D x 6D + 5x Chouberski + 5x Basse Terre

@ Distorted Humour – 12x Spearmint (principally daughter 9x Plucky Leige – 10x Fair Play

To the international spectrum – NZ genetics forever remain dynamic. It happens this distaff – the New Zealand bred Philomena line goes back @ 4x Harkaway not alone at King Tom, but Harkaway daughter Austrey – grand dam of Australian sire Chester. Another to Harkaway daughter Chaseaway is that to family 1-d distaff Vaguely Noble. Another factor has the Philomena line also takes St Angela, her daughter Angelica sire of Orme.

While Harkaway sits to the past it is obvious that Harkaway was a ‘Notable’ influence, laterally overlooked. And what we do find by science literature confessing (of sort): ‘many other influential stallions and refining breeds are not defined’. (Article). (Harkaway from a Nabocklish mare @ 3dx3d Bagot, 4x4x4x4 Herod.

II) The refinement of the Evolutionary Y Haplotype is not completed yet examination of the Crown Y Haplotype (Figure 3 B Crown demonstrates the signature @BT its future inheritance breeding population is immeasurable. But the point really goes @BT blood, as ‘said’ the lowest contribution percentage (3.3%) to the TB population however ‘when’ by critical mass effected, it is explosive.

Grey Sovereign (Nasrullah), Palestine (Fair Trial), Court Martial, Spearmint/Carbine, My Babu, Star Kingdom, Sir Tristram – come on through New Zealand Gold.
