1945 – Almost forgotten at odds 10 to 1, Nikellora was only of two fillies to win the great classic race inclusive winning Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe.

The presence of Nikellora imparted vivid interest though she had to carry a penalty. @ Prix Du Conseil Municipal

During the race she gave chase to Adan. Alongside Basileus, Micipsa, Chanteur and Coaraze. She was shut in. Finally, getting clear she closed with Ardan where he failed to withstand her formidable challenge.

As a two year old her career was modest. As a three year old she showed her brilliant form and was rated as the best fillies ever bred in France.
