The Aga Khan’s High top colt Top Ville was considered to be the greatest French danger to Troy in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. As a two year old Top Ville had won three times and on his first outing as a three-year-old he beat the very useful Bellypha (Lyphard) by a half a length in the Prix de Guiche. Top Ville then won convincingly beating Sharpman and Irish River.
