Winner of 2024 G1 Prix de Diane (2100m) 3yo b. filly Sparking Plenty by Kingman from Speralita (Frankel).

European champion Kingman is promoted as the best son of sire of sires Invincible Spirit, out of Classic winner Zenda – a half-sister to leading sire Oasis Dream.

Kingman’s dam runs to the Family 19; a H – to the Herod daughter ancestor broodmare Tuberose. The H to blue blood broodmare Lalun (f.f.19-b) dam of @ 6x6x7 Never Bend (USA), sire of dam Courtly Dee and sire of Mill Reef. The compelling notable to Laluns 4th dam by Carbine (f.f. 2-h Martha Lynn family)

By Haplotype L3a1a, highlights the female family 7-a, distaff to Invincible Spirit + 3x Rockefeller by Hyperion ex- Selene (see, 2x Sharpen Up) affinity to 4×5 Danzig. Upon similarity by relationship of elite broodmare Selene – Serenissma – Gondolette arrives upon the sub-variant, haplotype L3a1b. Another reinforcement f.f.7-a has Espresso 3rd dam of Urban Sea, meshed with other strains f.f. 6-e at Big Game, Sparkling Plenty 6th dam sire Pantheon, Sickle, Mossborough, Bosworth.

Broodmare sire of Busted (GB), Vimy is from family 1-u, L3a1b Haplotype, the affinity to Gondolette. Busted is 4th dam sire to Zenda, dam of Kingman.

Whilst a familial ‘pattern’ affinity maintains integrity of L3a1a/b, the perennial breeding discussions revolve around the delicate balance between avoiding excessive in-breeding or achieving a more favourable alignment with homogeneity values. This presents a complex scenario in which the markers of genotype must be meticulously assessed, striking a considered balance of breeding in relation to the resulting phenotype, which, nevertheless, remains somewhat undeterminable.

By our suggestion… the proficiency of breeding remains plausibly upon refining to multiples, the diversity ‘outside’ in much similar supportive strains which arise and converge as potent crosses. This development eventually advanced upon Danzig & Border Bounty where Border Bounty from a Danish line, Mowerina, gave Invincible Spirit.

Coefficient of Relationship (COR) measures the degree of consanguinity, or biological relationship, between two individuals. The term Coefficient of Relationship (COR) was, like the Coefficient of Inbreeding, defined by Sewall Wright in 1922. https://www.truenicks.com/pedigreestatistics.htm

Inbreeding Coefficient (IC) measures the Inbreeding to 10 generations using Sewall Wright’s F calculation expressed as a percentage value. A low inbreeding coefficient means a low level of inbreeding. The vast majority of Thoroughbreds will have an inbreeding coefficient of less than 10% and inbreeding coefficients over 15% are very rare. https://www.truenicks.com/pedigreestatistics.htm

Sparkling Plenty dam **family 16-c, as is 4th dam sire Faraway Son + Herbager thru Rainbow Quest (Frankel’s 2nd dam sire). Two of the these three to Agnes family lineage are to Voltigeur referencing dam, Martha Lynn. Martha ancestral back… surely influences a peculiar dominance upon Haplotype L4, as to family 2. Haplotype L4 @ Sparkling Plenty pedigree arises through Kris (GB) and 2nd dam sire Dashing Blade (GB) + Spy Song thru 4th dam sire Faraway Son in family 2-o. The grand-dam of Sir Gaylord & Secretariat, Imperatrice, sired by Caruso (USA) is another member to family 2-o. (n.b. Further Danehill impacts L4 via family 2-d branch.)

At **family 16-c by Haplotype are of two mares and here the individuals cannot be validated by Pedigree Studbook Table. The f.f. 16c as irregularities exist to either I2a or L3a1b and another remotely to N haplotype.

In any case the pedigree to Sparkling Plenty as featuring Haplotype L3a1b is crucial.

Haplotype H – Kingman, Lalun
Haplotype L3a1a/b – Danzig, Gondolette/Selene lineage et al.
Haplotype L4 – Kris, Dashing Blade, Danehill
