City of Troy (USA) 2yr colt by Justify from Together Forever (IRE) ex- Galileo. Family distaff 9-e, haplotype G2. 3 starts – 3 wins.
City of Troy – G1 Dewhurst Stakes winner. A beautiful action, he’s impressive. Trainer, Aiden O’Brien states: ‘he doesn’t get tired’.
An international and classic pedigree, @Haplotype exerts L3a1b influence.
The power-house L3a1b of 8 branch ‘families finds the ancestral mare by the Byerley Turk.
– Pedigree /Haplotype f.f. 8c: Hennessey/Storm Cat (Justify’s male line) + dams, Sassafras (FR) and Red God, (sire of Blushing Groom) with 6thdam by Count Fleet male line through Sunreigh (FR). (Sassafras beat Nijinsky in the Prix de l’arc Triumph)
Further L3a1b ‘compaction’ may continue through sub-branches f.f. 8-f, @ sire Justify 3x Raise a Native, 2x Nijinsky, as inclusive other 8 sub-branches ie Red God/Menow 8-g (Blushing Groom)
City of Troy dam’s distaff @Haplotype G2 (f.f. 9-e) a match through Galileo’s breeding (f.f. 9-h). Its ancestral has mare by Curwen Spot – Curwen Spot by Selaby Turk.
Curwen Spot ‘blood’ is highly, highly influential where ‘fire’ hits water crossing through lineages today. It is a study of its own complexity however ‘bullseye’ to the Galileo racehorse pheno.
City of Troy dam Together Forever – 4×4 Special , dam of Nureyev (USA) and half sister Fairy Bridge are female family 5-h attributed Haplotype D1b.
As afore mentioned, Count Fleet’s grandsire Sunreigh (FR) assigned f.f.8c. His dam however assigned female-family 6a. To accounts where historical pedigree for branch family 6a, has two assigned haplotypes, L2a2, L3a1b. Due to its US dam lineage…it may suggest L2a2? If so, the lineage gathers upon ancestral mare Rosy Clack – a producer of Kentucky Derby & Oak winners leading to Count Fleet, 1943 American Triple Crown champion.
Count Fleet appears as 4th dam sire to Hennessey, 2nd dam sire 5x Mr Prospector, + the 6th dam’s sire.
Another important female family 6-a member, – same US female lineage has Bolero (Eight Thirty). Bolero the 3rd dam sire of Storm Cat. (More important info @ Bolero here..)
Withal & belated apology to readers, the missed attribution to Hawaii (SAF), as we may of inadvertently overlooked Hawaii’s impact on Justify’s pedigree and siring ability. It is worth noting that the inclusion of Hawaii (SAF) has provided further evidence of Justify’s excellent offspring – Japan bred colt Yuttiham, 3x Hawaii.

🐴💯City of Troy – a supreme colt with pedigree whose exhilarating stride electrifies.
Please note our analysis ‘remarks’ how haplotype may aggregate pedigree Tables, hence genotype: a certain haplotype may maximise ‘probability’ where other haplotypes though underlying, are equally as relevant.
